NSOC 7th GOLF DAY 2008 - Tuesday 5th August 2008
This year promises to be our best as we mark 25 years of the Society as a charity. The New Zealand Golf Club is one of the TOP 100 golf courses in the UK... renowned for its established, picturesque North Downs setting. Founded in 1895, the course has a maturity and history behind it that places it firmly in a league of its own. It's not just the splendour of the tree-lined fairways that brings golfers from afar, it's the good old-fashioned feel of the clubhouse too.

Christmas Tree Festival - ST MARY'S CHURCH, DALTON-IN-FURNESS. An appeal for help to decorate a tree and raise money for the Society.
Society members, Julie and Darren Thompson, enjoy decorating a tree for their local Church Christmas Tree Festival in memory of their son Declan with donations raised helping Neuroblastoma research. This year the theme is Turn a Page. As 2008 is the Silver Jubilee of the Society they thought it would be appropriate to name their tree Memories and Hope. Download further information.
